HOW WE SERVE TOGETHER
Our Leadership Teams
Governance Board
Vanessa Simon, Chair
The Governance Board guides the life and mission of St. Paul. It approves the planning of programs that nurture, reach out, and witness at St. Paul and beyond, and oversees the church's administration. Each year it plans, carries out, and evaluates our mission and ministry, and it answers to the Charge Conference of the Metro District of the North Texas Conference of The United Methodist Church. Members are recruited by the Lay Leadership Development Committee and elected at the Annual Charge Conference. Governance includes Finance and Administration, the Trustees, and the Staff Pastor Parish Relations Committee.
Finance Ministry
Fredie Williams, Chair
The Finance Ministry cares for the church's financial resources and looks for new ways to support St. Paul's mission and ministries. It encourages a spirit of generous giving, plans and monitors the annual budget, oversees the counting team and contribution records, conducts an annual audit, and keeps written financial policies that are reviewed each year. The team includes the Finance Treasurer, Finance Secretary, and check signers.
Board of Trustees
Rhonda Benson and Jerry Woods, Co-Chairs
The Trustees care for the church's buildings and grounds. They oversee maintenance, purchases, and capital improvements, keep records for each property, including deeds and value, and make sure the church carries proper property and liability insurance.
